Disney's Hollywood Studios is een park dat vergelijkbaar is met het Studios park in Frankrijk. Maar zoals alle Amerikaanse Disney equivalenten in Florida is dit park veel groter (en beter aangekleed) dan de Franse versie.
Top 5 attracties die ik niet had willen missen:
1. Fantasmic: een voorstelling zoals die ik nog nooit in een pretpark heb gezien. Een show die een combinatie is van live action, vuurwerk, lichtjes parade (op boten), waterballet, projecties (geprojecteerd op muren van water) en reusachtige decors. Dit alles in een openluchttheater waarin plaats is voor 10.000 man.
2. Great Movie Ride: In deze ride wordt je rondgeleid door een gids (geen animatronic, nee gewoon een vrouw van vlees en bloed). De gids wordt echt deel van de attractie en het is verrassend om te zien hoe live-action in deze attractie is vermengd met een traditionele attractie met poppen en animatronics.
3. Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!: ook een show, weliswaar niet zo groots als Phantasmic maar desalniettemin ook behoorlijk groot en indrukwekkend. Een spectaculaire maar ook grappige show waarbij tot drie keer toe een gigantisch filmset wordt onthult ook al had je dat niet voor mogelijk gehouden.
4. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: Ik ben hier zelf niet in geweest (idd, ik durfde niet) maar omdat mijn reisgenoten wel in de attractie wilde heb ik de wachtrij en het gebouw wel van binnen gezien. Het is prachtig Art Deco en (zoals meestal met wachtrijen van Disney attracties) er is veel te zien tijdens het wachten. Bovendien zijn de meeste thrill-rides in Disney World er volledig op gebouwd dat een deel van het gezelschap niet daadwerkelijk in de attractie wil en er staan dus ook normale liften klaar, met personeel om je naar de uitgang te begeleiden. Je komt je familie/vrienden dan vanzelf weer tegen.
5. The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow: tijdens ons verblijf was deze attractie in zijn preview periode en was dus officieel nog niet geopend. Het is een walk-through attractie met rond om je zeer geavanceerde projectie technieken. Je wordt verwelkomt door Jack Sparrow (oftewel, Johnny Depp) om met hem te gaan op een piratentocht. Maar dan moet het publiek zich wel eerst bewijzen.

English: Disney's Hollywood Studios is similar as the studios park in France. But like most American Disney equivalents, the Florida park is much bigger (and with a more impressive decor) than the French version.
Top 5 attractions that I wouldn't want to have missed:
1. Fantasmic: A show unlike any other show I even saw in a theme park. Fantasmic is a combination of live-action, fireworks, electrical light parade (but on boats), dancing water, projections (projected on walls of water) and a enormous scenery. All this takes place in a open air theatre with room for 10.000 people!
2. Great Movie Ride: In this ride your are being guided by a real live person. The guide really becomes part of the story that is told in this attraction and it is really surprising who live-action is incorporated in this ride.
3. Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!: This is a show too. And although it isn't as overwhelming as Phantasmic it still is pretty big and impressive. This is a spectacular and funny show in which up to 3 gigantic movie sets are revealed (it really seems unbelievable that new enormous film sets keep appearing).
4. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: I didn't actually go on this ride (I was to scared) but because my travel companions did want to go, I did see the inside of the building and the surrounding garden. Like most Disney waiting lines this one is very beautiful as it is designed as an now empty Art Deco hotel. Plus, most thrill rides in Disney World have been designed to accommodate people who are part of a group that is going on the ride. If some people don't want to go, they are escorted to a real elevator. Staff then guides you to the exit where you will automatically rejoin your friends/family.

This is a walk-through attraction that uses highly advanced projections that are everywhere around you. You are welcomed by Jack Sparrow (yup it is indeed, Johnny Depp) who takes you on a pirate mission. But first the audience will have to prove that they are worthy of becoming a pirate.
